A POWERFUL MOTIVATOR
Since the fall of 2016, Southeast Missouri State University students have been learning and working in the Rust Center for Media with workspaces for audio production, podcasting, photography, webcast production and content creation. The building offers various meeting areas along with a floor plan to encourage teamwork among students and faculty as well as the ability to connect multiple devices to each other as and to TV monitors.

The Center also exemplifies the University’s long-standing commitment to experiential learning and hands-on storytelling in direct coloration with the Southeast Missourian newspaper and rustmedia, KFVS12 TV, and River Radio – all located blocks from the Mississippi river on Media Row.
